Summary
The First, in the series of outdoor projects. This project was held in the vicinity of Begnas lake. A 3 day project organised to kick-off outdoor education project allowed us to understand and put to practice our idea of what the students would like and dislike. This would lead us to find the accurate length and tweak the content taught to the students as well. It was also important to get to know how outdoor education would be appreciated by the students and the school.
Background
After a successful crowdfunding campaign via Justgiving. Our focus turned to jump starting the project. We decide to approach the least treaded trekking area in the annapurna area and found success with Machhapuchhre higher secondary school nestled under the mountains in the Annapurna Conservation Area. The school accept our proposal but asked us to cut the program short to 3 days as this was a kind of project the school hadn’t been approached with. As we were eager to get started we were quick to receive their request we decided to cut the program short to 3 days.

Reviews & Reactions:
Conclusion
A tiny step towards the high strides that we hope to take in future, the project was an immense success. Appreciated by the school and cherished to bits by the students that took part. We ended on a high note with outdoors instilled in the hearts of the students.
We now moved towards the next project to be held in September.
